i used to be afraid of travel...
i actually used to be super afraid of travel which is ironic because now i travel the world AS. MY. JOB.
in 2018, i decided i was gonna take a trip to california, so i decided to take a cross country road trip on a bus! only... i never made it. instead, i got into a fatal bus crash and the bus veered 200ft off of the road into a ditch. i suffered severe injuries and they said no one should have survived that crash. i'm grateful to be here, clearly my story wasn't finished yet and i'm alive to see the sequel.
the thought of getting on a plane, train or bus terrified me. i thought i'd never see the world because my paralyzing fear would overpower me every time i thought about booking that ticket, but like that one selena gomez song that pops into my head every now and then, "wow, look at me now."
